Please note that the information regarding the Royal Saskatchewan Museum did not come through on the electronic version. That information is presented below. Parents who are interested in keeping track of events at Athabasca School are encouraged to download the October calendar link to read at their convenience. The Royal Saskatchewan Museum is pleased to announce its Young Explorers series. All events take place from 1-4 pm at the RSM. Participants enjoy an afternoon of educational fun, crafts, experiments, stories, games, gallery visits, and snacks! The cost is $12 + GST for a single event, or $60 + GST for the complete series. You may register at the RSM Gift Shop or by phoning 757-5951. Credit cards are accepted. Perfect for fact-finding 8-11 year olds. The individual events are: Sunday, Jan. 24 - Winter Wonders (Come prepared to delve and dive into the snowy fadcts of winter wonders!) Sunday, February 21 - Burrow In! (A favourite afternoon featuring the SBOIC's newest ambassador GEORGE!) Sunday, March 28 - What lurks beneath? (Discover the facts about the pond and marsh-dwelling creatures) Sunday, April 25 - Soar into Spring! (An afternoon of spring time facts, fun, and games) Another school year is under way, and students may be seeing a few new faces around the school.
